Scotland’s Global Investment Scale-Up Summit aims to change this by connecting investors with high growth Scottish businesses, with support from both the Scottish and UK Governments. The summit will be sector agnostic and will benefit both investors and leaders of scale-up businesses.

Exploring Scottish Innovation and Opening Burns Supper
The first day will give investors the opportunity to visit Scotland’s world-class universities and see first-hand some of the innovation and investment opportunities emerging from them.
The summit will then formally begin with a VIP reception, followed by a Burns Supper hosted by the First Minister, bringing together the Lord Mayor of the City of London and senior political and business figures from Scotland and beyond.
Global Investment Scale-Up Summit
The main summit will take place on Tuesday 26 January at the NatWest Conference Centre, Gogarburn, showcasing the innovation, expertise and ambition of Scotland’s high-growth businesses.
Bringing together scale-up businesses and international investors from across a range of sectors, the day will provide opportunities to build connections, explore investment opportunities and support future growth.
Looking back at 2025
Showcasing Scotland's Investment Potential
Held in Edinburgh on 6–7 October 2025, Scotland's Global Investment Summit brought together international investors, business leaders and senior figures from government to explore investment opportunities across financial services, renewable energy and life sciences.
The two-day event included visits to Scotland's innovation centres, an opening reception and dinner, followed by a full day of discussions, sector showcases and opportunities for investors to connect directly with businesses.
The 2027 summit will build on the connections and momentum established at the 2025 Global Investment Summit, with a renewed focus on supporting Scotland's high-growth scale-up businesses.
