MAJOR FINANCE CHIEF TO ATTEND SCOTLAND’S GLOBAL INVESTMENT SUMMIT
One of the UK’s most senior financial figures has confirmed his attendance at Scotland’s Global Investment Summit, which is taking place in Edinburgh on October 6 and 7.
The landmark summit, hosted by Scottish Financial Enterprise and the Lord Mayor of London, will bring together global investors policy makers and leaders from three of the nation’s growth sectors, financial services, renewable and life sciences, with the goal of securing inward investment.
Nikhil Rathi, the Chief Executive of the Financial Conduct Authority, will join scores of high-profile investors at the event, which aims to fuel investment in Scotland’s world-leading financial, energy and life science sectors.
The Financial Conduct Authority is the main regulator for financial services across the UK and plays a central role in supporting economic growth and promoting competition while protecting consumers.
Scottish Financial Enterprise Chief Executive Sandy Begbie CBE welcomed confirmation Nikhil Rathi would be joining the summit.
