Paul is Group Chief Executive of NatWest Group, a leading UK bank serving over 20 million customers, with businesses across retail, commercial and private banking markets. In Scotland, NatWest Group supports one in three businesses and one in five people and families through its Royal Bank of Scotland brand.

Prior to becoming Group Chief Executive, Paul was Chief Executive of the bank’s Commercial & Institutional (C&I) business, bringing together the teams that support NatWest’s business customers, ranging from entrepreneurs and start-ups through to multi-nationals and financial institutions.

He has strong UK and International expertise in strategic and cultural transformation, scale leadership, balance sheet management and risk, and a sharp focus on customer experience.

Paul has over 30 years’ experience in financial services having held senior roles within Wholesale, Corporate, International, Risk and Retail Banking, across the UK, Europe and US.
